footballpicks.app is a private platform. Access to leagues, schedules, and team names requires a valid invite code. Leagues are created and managed by individual league administrators, and participation is limited to invited members only.

2. For-Fun Picks Only (No Gambling)

The Service is for entertainment purposes only. We do not facilitate, endorse, or permit real-money gambling, wagers, or prizes of monetary value on or through the Service. Any side bets or prize pools organized by your league are managed entirely outside our platform. We are not responsible for financial losses, disputes, or third-party agreements.

3. No NFL Affiliation

footballpicks.app is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed, or sponsored by the National Football League (NFL), its teams, or any related organizations. All team names, schedules, and scores are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. No logos or trademarks are owned or claimed by us.

4. User Accounts & Conduct

• You are responsible for your account security and activity.
• Do not upload illegal, infringing, defamatory, hateful, or harmful content.
• No automated scraping, excessive requests, or attempts to bypass security.
• Respect other members. No harassment, impersonation, or abusive behavior.

5. Data & Content

Any schedules, team names, or scores displayed on footballpicks.app are used strictly for private, entertainment purposes. All sports data may be sourced from third parties and is provided “as is,” without warranties of accuracy or completeness.

6. Changes & Availability

We may update, modify, or remove features at any time. We may revise these Terms periodically, and the “Effective” date above will update when changes are made. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DATA (INCLUDING SCORES OR SCHEDULES) WILL BE CURRENT OR ACCURATE.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS (IF ANY) OR (B) USD $50.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold footballpicks.app, its operators, and affiliates harmless from any claims arising out of your use of the Service, participation in leagues, or violation of these Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of your state of residence (if in the U.S.) or your country of residence, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Venue will be the courts with proper jurisdiction in that location.
